OBJECTIVE
The objective of this International Congress is to allow scientist and technicians to discuss the current and future perspectives of silvopastoralism within a worldwide context, in order to increase biodiversity and sustainability of forestland.

    Technical visit to "dehesa" farms and experiments in Salamanca and Badajoz (W Spain). See Map.
    NOTE It is planned to overnight in Salamanca on the 22th, and in Badajoz on the 23rd. Please note that the technical visit will finish on the 24-4-2004 at 18:00 in Badajoz.
    It will be then possible to travel by bus to Madrid. The duration of the trip is 3 hours.This will be organized by the Congress.
    The participants interested in travelling back to Lugo may have this option too. Bus will arrive in Lugo at round 14:00 on 25-4-2004.
